Bruce was really a great guy. I last saw him at one of our reunions years ago. Eddie Southard and I first met Bruce in th 7th grade and remained friends until graduation. His nickname became Doberman, named after the comedy star in the Sgt. Bilko TV series. It is not surprising that his carrer involved the study of comedy. I read his Obit, and reviewed all of the wonderful commenrs from his students and friends who loved him. RIP. Mitch

I have known Ingrid since the 6th grade. She lived near me, as did Guane Holt and his family. My deepest condolences to Ingrid's familty.  She always was very kind to everyone and a truly nice person.

Condolences go out to Jerry's family and friends. We were old friends going back to our homeroom and as teammates on the Woodward baseball team. Years later, I received a call from Stan Mathews inviting me to join the Kenwood Baptist Church softball team. The team included Jerry, Stan, and Bill Schlesinger. We had a great time. I told the guys that I would bring the Old Testament to the games so that I could prey for a hit. Jerry and I lost touch with each other, but we did see each other at the reunions and later when he became an Uber driver. He called me last year after Hazel Goldberg requested that he contact me. He called me to cheer me up during my recovery from COVID. It was really great to talk with him and share our past times. I remember that I used to see Jerry a lot after he started dating Gail Combs who lived down the street from me. He would always stop and chat with me before and after he was visiting his future wife. I know Jerry will be deeply missed by his best friends: Herb Margolis (my fraternity brother); Bill Stewart (my teammate on the Bond Hill-Roselawn Bearcats, our pee wee football team); and Stan Mathews (also on that team and my law school classmate.  Mitch Goldberg

Happy Birthday old friend. I remember shooting baskets at your house, and playing tackle football at Roselawn school with you, Steve Schwartz and Tommy Gildenblatt.

John was a great guy.  He sat behind me in Mr. Sanger's American History class and we quickly became friends.  We "cut-up" together during the class.  He was a really good athlete.  He was a running back on the reserve team, but he could have started on the varsity teams in most of the high school teams in Cincinnati.  I was told (by Eddie Southard) that John acted as a coach for the varsity team because he knew the plays better than the other players.  RIP
