Thank you all for your kind comments about Bill. Yes, he loved people and treasured his time with his Woodward friends. Bill never met a stranger.
Every day was a gift with Bill and was always unique. I can honesly say I never had a boring day with him in our 60 years of marriage. It started with towing a motorcycle to ride in the mountains of Tennessee in DECEMBER, 1965 for our honeymoon!! He loved riding a motorcycle and loved cars. Bill pretty much loved everything! He loved life and lived it to its fullest!
Bill's mind never rested. He could look at something and see its value. He loved collecting. None of which our 2 sons, Alan and David want.(Sound familiar?) He collected information and stored it in that big brain that never rested. Reading his I-pad was one of his favorite pastimes. Probably like some of you, he would have 4 books going at one time! I believe it started with his love of a library near his home which he frequented often. He loved his law life because he loved writing and helping people. He wanted to go out "feet first" and pretty much did! Just too soon.
He will be missed by our community as he volunteered for many local organizations. He was President of our lovely local museum, Harmon Museum for 20 years gratis and was also their Attorney.
Some of you have known Bill longer than I have. Feel free to share stories about him if you like. I will probably enjoy a good laugh at all your antics.
Thanks. Sorry I have taken so long to reply to your condolences.
Stay well! Love to you from Bill and me. Jane

Hi, Ruth,
Seems like this is the main way we communicate, but it works!
I'm certain that your lovely family will make your birthday a big celebration. When COVID clears, please think about joining your friends for our 60th Woodward Reunion. You are invited to stay with Bill and me anytime. The reunion is a very low key, enjoyable luncheon meeting. It's scheduled for Sept., 2021.
I still see Renee Fogel Lemberg, Linda Kaye Blumberg, Charlotte Rinsky Skurow, Annette Margolis Klein, and Judy Sheff Butler for lunch every few months (normally).
Our daughter-in-law is from Lansing, and her mother still lives there.
Our best to you! Love, Jane

Have a great birthday. Love, Jane
