Wow! 50 years. How the time has flown. I will do by best to be at the reunion. I'm still working fulltime at Tri-County Baptist Church up in West Chester as Minister of Music/Assoc. Pastor. I have been with the church for 37 years. It was started by the church where I grew up, Norwood Baptist on Courtland Ave. in Norwood. My wife, Barb, also attended there, but is 4 yrs. younger than me & attended Norwood High. We sort of knew each other in Sr.high/Jr. high, but didn't really get acquainted until I had been out of college for 2 yrs. working in a church in Orlando. I moved back to Cincy. to do graduate work at CCM. A mutual friend got us together. After 1 1/2 yrs. in grad. school I ran out of money so we got married. That's pretty much the truth, stretched just a little. Both of our daughters & their families live up in this area. We are so thankful to have them nearby.
After H.S.graduation, I attended Tennessee Temple College (now University) in Chattanooga, where I majored in Sacred Music with a Minor in Bible. After graduating I went to Orlando where I worked as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor for Orlando Baptist Temple for two years. After grad. school and getting married, Barb and I went to Pontiac, MI where I worked in the Sunnyvale Chapel for four years as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor. Tri-County Baptist then called me as Minister of Music and Associate Pastor where I have served since 1973. |

I believe it was for Christmas of 1960 that the Woodward Ensemble Singers were invited to tape a TV program for the Ruth Lyons/Bob Braun Show. How exciting that was to be a part of that taping and then to be able to sit at home on Christmas day and watch our ensemble sing on television. |

With my beautiful wife, Barb, of 40+ years of marriage.
