I'm so sorry to learn this so long after you lost Bruce.  He was so friendly, we met in seventh grade.  Fun to be around.

I am of course sorry to hear of Bruce's passing.  He and I were freinds from an early age.   We both attended North Avondale for grade school, then Woodward, and University of Cincinnati.   We were freinds for all those years.  I still have grade school class pictures of Bruce.  He was truly a nice person and always quite freindly and happy.

He David Korros and I were close  freinds thru high school and college and took several road trips together.   I can remember a trip to Pittsburgh in 1960 when Cincinati Reds were in contention for first place and Bruce slapping a root the reds home sticker on a pirate logo in front of Forbes Field.  There was also the trip to New York for the worlds fair.  Great memories.

Tried to call him and email him before last classe reunion.  Now I know why I couldn't reach him.

Bruce was really a great guy. I last saw him at one of our reunions years ago. Eddie Southard and I first met Bruce in th 7th grade and remained friends until graduation. His nickname became Doberman, named after the comedy star in the Sgt. Bilko TV series. It is not surprising that his carrer involved the study of comedy. I read his Obit, and reviewed all of the wonderful commenrs from his students and friends who loved him. RIP. Mitch

Bruce and I were classmates from the second grade at South Avondale through Woodward and the University of Cincinnati. It had been years since I last seen Bruce as I left you see to move to New York. Our 50th reunion was the first time that Bruce and I came together. I will miss my friend, and pray that he rest in peace in the kingdom of heaven. Philip Erwin Brown PhD
