Steve was my best friend growing up. We shared life together like brothers from elementary through high school. I have so many memories; attending Roselawn School; playing sandlot football; every weekend sleepovers; bus trips to downtown Cinti. -the Ohio Book store, collecting comics and classics, then to the Wheel Cafe for lunch. We wouldn't do anything without the other. Weekends - we'd pay $1.00 per ticket, then sneak down to the lower seats to see Cinti. Royals basketball games; Oscar and all. In high school, he would pick me up everyday in his 57 Chevy (black & white}, drive to school or NOT. After school, we would always hang out; Pasquale's Pizza, Swifton Center, double dating, including each others girlfriends. I never saw him study, yet he always got great grades - what a mind.
12 years of fond memories and I wouldn't change one day we spent together. My only regret is that after school, marriage and relocating for business purposes is that we lost contact. I really loved him.

Steve's son Dave runs the Skyline Chili Parlor in Clearwater, FL. It is full of Cincinnati memorabilia.
