Sharon Lynn Nunnelly Squeri died Aug. 16, 2011.
Notification of Sharon's death came to the class from Dawn Campbell Cole:
Sharon and I have remained very close over all these years and it saddens me to tell you of her death. Her son Michael may send notice but I am not sure. She has fought cancer for so many years and finally lost the battle. She went back into the hospital last week and was put on life support for several days. The doctors informed the family (Sharon's three sons) that there was absolutely no hope of survival and the decision was made to withdraw the life support. I think that was Saturday. Michael and I have been in very close touch through sll of this and at three o'clock (1:00 am Arizona time) this morning I got the call that I knew was coming.
I shall miss my dear precious friend but remember all the good times we had. I am very thankful to know she is with her Lord and finished with suffering. --Dawn Campbell Cole
Sharon's Woodward activities included: Soph. Class Treas, 2; French Club 2; G.A.A. 2; Art Club 2; Student Council 2, 3; Kappa Phi Delta 2, 3, Sgt. at Arms 4.
