SACHS, Jackie, nee Golding, age 67, passed away October 29, 2010, beloved wife of Jim Sachs, devoted mother of Todd, Gary & Mark Sachs, dear sister of Marica & Walter Rubin & Stuart & Ruth Golding, sister-in-law of Sandy & Stanley Kutler, loving grandmother of Jessica, Kayla, Corey & Drew Sachs, also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Services Weil Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd., Mon, Nov 1, 11:00 A.M. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. Friends may call on the family Monday only at the residence of Marcia & Walter Rubin. Minyan will be at 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the JCC Early Childhood School or the Wellness Community would be appreciated.

Jackie's Woodward activities included: Spanish Club 3, 4; Drama Club 2, 3, 4; G.A.A. 2; Girls' Glee 2; Art Club 2, 3, 4; Sigma Theta Pi 2, 3, 4.

Jackie was one of those dear friends who brought sunshine into our lives. She had this beautiful twinkle in her eyes that let you know she was always ready to have fun and laugh at life, even during her most challenging times with cancer. She dearly loved children and spent her life teaching at the JCC Nursery School and at Wise and Rockdale Temple Sunday schools. She married the love of her life Jim Sachs (WHS '60). They were married 47 years. They have 3 children: Todd, Gary and Mark and 4 grandchildren. I will dearly miss her as will all those who had the privilege of being her friend.
