Barb and I were gold friends and always had crushes on each other. Barb lived across the street from Ron Parkins and down the street from Sandy Kahn, We were all good friends and shared a lot of good times together. Its been a long time and Barb I still think of you often,  Sandy Deichman

Barbie and I were cousins and grew up one street away from each other in Bond Hill. We spent most every Friday night together as she lived in a two family home, our grandma and grandpa living in the other half. Friday night dinner at our grandparents was a family ritual.

We shared our girlie "secrets" and giggled a great deal (mainly about boys). For several months during our senior year at Woodward, Barbie lived at my home while she was going through a difficult time. We became like"sisters".

Her death in her twenties brought a great deal of sorrow to our family, and to me personally. I think of you often Barbie. RIP.

Hi Marcy, I don't know if we ever met but Barb was also my good friend. I don't recall Barb being gone so young in her life. I know she went through some hard times. She was a special girl and very special to me and maybe down the road I will see her her again, RIP, Sandy Deichman

I also didn't know about Barbies death.  I will have a lasting memory of going to Barbies house after school and having salami sandwiches on toast with tomato juice.  Rest in peace Barbie.

I lived on Lillian Drive the same street as kids you spoke about. Just a few houses down- across from my cousin Ron Fogel and many others from our class. We all hung out with each other in the summer months until 10th grade. Many of the guys were part of "blue devils" a club they started. I had heard about Ron Parkins - not barbara till many years later. I was schocked and so sad. Anyone know what happened or should I not ask. Sandy Kahn lived a house or two away from Barb- went to medical school with my husband and died a year or two ago. We were all so innocent and free. In a way would love to live  those again!!! Just for a few days.  May the rest of you stay healthy!  Is everyone going to the next reunion??
